Babe Ruth

A $100 bat swings real well - not that i've swung a plethora of bats in my life, but this $100 Babe Ruth Louisville slugger definitely has a good swing to it - it wants to swing, and when the dead walk the earth, it will bash in their brains quite well.

Hell yeah i watch too much Romero.

Stalking

Walked to the Food Coop earlier tonight at around 8:30pm. On the way back a white guy tried following me home. He had either short possibly blonde hair or no hair over an egg shaped face with no facial hair and drove a dark toyota truck, regular cab, with a white tailgate. He circled around a few times, each time looking in my direction, each time i kept looking forward. License plate was the standard blue Michigan with possibly GHG or 646 at the beginning. I've been here over 10 years and know my way through the alleys and lots and avoided him past the first couple blocks, though i did see him circling from afar.

Once i got home i turned the tables and went hunting for him with my camera. I found him back by the Food Coop. He drove past me as i raised my camera and snapped a couple, real obvious like so he knew. I checked the photos and realised i hadn't adjusted for nighttime, so the two photos weren't that good. I tried following, but i was on foot and the truck was too fast. Here's the photo - the "Toyota" on the tailgate truck is kinda visible in the lower right.

Does every country get its own David/Goliath story?

The only time a stealth fighter has been shot down in combat was during the NATO bombings of Yugoslavia during the late 1990's. Remnants of the fighter are now displayed in the Air Museum of Belgrade - here are some photos, though you can expect my own photos after i visit the area this March. On March 12 i'm headed to Vienna, from which i'll take a train through Hungary to Belgrade. After the museum i'm not sure what i'll do until i get back on the 29th.

My favourite part was when she fed me

My brother and sister-in-law must tell my niece about me all the time, because she even knew i was vegan, feeding me only pieces of melon and soy patty. Her mumbling phrases is cool, her walking is great, her turning off the tv is wonderful, but her using the little fork to stick little pieces of food and put them in my mouth was the best. She chose to give up her own nourishment in order to feed me - is this not the beginnings of compassion? Surely Avalokiteshvara watches over her.

Fox

I got to chase a fox for about a mile on my ride into work this morning, but only got about 8 seconds of it.
