A Note About the Leatherman

No, it's not stolen, or lost, that i am aware of.

If you see a leatherman with my name and website on it and it's not in my hands, please note i traded my leatherman and 700KSh for a Masai sword and club. Traded it with Alex, Tony's younger brother. Aren't those dandy Masai names?

Feel odd without my leatherman at my side, can only imagine that Alex feels the same without his weapons (though he should still have a spear handy). Feel a certain helplessness - without that tool, preparations, scenarios, change.

Hey F,

Your travels sound amazing, any chance we can get a picture of your newly acquired leatherman replacement?

I'll post a photo after i get back to MI, which should be sometime this Thursday.

A note about the cost, i probably got ripped off, but also i needed to have that leatherman fixed. It was missing a little piece, couldn't use a lot of the extra tools as a result (and these happened to be the ones i use most, mainly for bike repairs). Would have cost me about $35 in shipping costs alone, so really the total cost on my side was about $60, still a ripoff, but not quite as large a ripoff (and though you can buy those swords in the markets in Nairobi, they aren't the same, just tourist versions).
